WW: Chinese Logos
This is a giant poster that I bought in Beijing and framed.
It is a reproduction of a vintage ad for bug spray. I love that it is two pretty, smiling girls surrounded by dead insects. Those spots on the wall paper are upside down, dead bugs.
This is a can of sweetened condensed milk from China.
I didn’t really know about the deliciousness of sweetened condensed milk before I spent time in Asia.
Sweetened Condensed Milk it is a tasty dip for donuts, great for making pies, and it makes coffee taste RILLY RILLY GOOD!
Is it nutritious? I don’t know. I think in times past, Sweetened Condensed Milk used to be given to babies.
In Laos, some people eat baguettes drizzled with sweetened condensed milk. Don’t knock it until you try it.
I didn’t know that it was also a good pizza topping (picture of the back of the label, bottom right).
I’m not ready to go there with my pizza. Not yet.

Sweetened condensed milk is good, but having it on pizza just sounds wrong! The panda can is cute!

I think your poster is wonderful! As for sweetened condensed milk, I would need to try it one pizza before I proclaimed it dreadful. I usually like most food, which is my problem.

Maybe you use it with the cheese in pizza??? We have a pizza place by us with a super sweet sauce and it is our favorite, maybe it is a similar idea? Or maybe they are just weird!

My mom is a big user of sweetened condensed milk… its more of a bakers thing, I think! I like that Panda Bear logo!

I think I’ll leave it off pizza, but I love sweetened condensed milk…….not that I use it often, but as a child I LOVED it drizzled on Cream of Wheat.

I LOVE them! Esp the Panda brand label.:) With a Chinese daughter, we kinda have a thing for all things Panda and all things Chinese around here.:)
