We got a cute Valentine-themed DVD to review from N’Circle Entertainment.
WordWorld: My Fuzzy Valentine is an entertaining exercise in early literacy.
The first scene is the “ant” character creating a valentine using the letters H-E-A-R-T, which join together and form a heart.
Sat down and watched WordWorld: My Fuzzy Valentine with my two boys and used the opportunity to get a feel for Jojo’s decoding skills.
I asked questions like, “Now do you know how to spell “HEART”? Spell it for me!”
The main crisis in the first episode (there are 2) is that Sheep can’t think of a word that rhymes with “art” for her Valentine poem to Bear.
I mean it seemed pretty obvious to me, but I asked Jojo what word Sheep should use, and he said, “Bart!”
I don’t want to include any spoilers in this review but you might be able to guess what word Sheep finally came up with.
The second episode is about Bug learning how to write his name so that he can sign a Valentine.
Both episodes are entertaining and educational!
Thank you, N’Circle Entertainment, for providing us with a review copy of WordWorld: My Fuzzy Valentine.
