I love Fisher Price because of the fond memories I have of playing with my FP toys as a little one. The classic Fisher Price toys have a special place in my heart, but I also enjoy seeing the new things that Fisher Price comes up with.
Fisher Price TRIO King’s Castle seems to have been designed especially with the interests and needs of my preschooler in mind!
Trio is a building system of bricks, sticks and panels which easily snap together, giving kids lots of ways to design and create.
The pieces are easy to attach, and different playsets like the Trio Fire Station and Fisher Price TRIO King’s Castle allow for more advanced skill development.
The Fisher Price TRIO King’s Castle is designed for children ages five to nine to build their own medieval castle just the way they want it, using over 200 easy-click bricks, six knights, one horse, a working cannon, a working drawbridge, a catapult, a breakaway wall, and different “picture panels”.
With all of these accessories, once the Fisher Price TRIO King’s Castle is assembled, the stage is set for some heroic imaginative play!
For Jojo (age 5), lots of little figurines and accessories are what he likes best about a play set!
Fisher Price sent us this set to try out, and I see it being a big hit for the 5-10 age range. The retail price is $74.99, but I noticed it on sale on Amazon today for $49.99 (free shipping included, of course).
I found this Trio commercial on YouTube that shows you close ups of the pieces, for a better sense of scale:
We are grateful to Fisher Price for providing a sample of the Trio King’s Castle for review.
