Traveling Twins

I would like to introduce you to two friends of MomMostTraveled.com. Who are they? Why, they are dolphins carved out of water buffalo horns, of course!

Duh, I can’t believe you had to ask.

But anyway, these two little guys need names.

So far, they have been in my possession for about three years (gift from a student; we teachers get the best gifts, don’t we?), but they have never left the fair country of Laos.

I decided it is time for them to discover the world.

So. Here is the plan.

One of the buffalo horn dolphins is going to stay with the Mom Most Traveled family and accompany us on our adventures.

The other is going to go traveling by himself.

I want you, my readers, to show this buffalo horn dolphin a good time.

twins It is not going to take much for this dolphin to be impressed.

I want him to visit your home town and see the landmarks. I want him to go with you on your family vacation. I want him to go to your birthday party or hunt Easter eggs with you.

Then, I want him to email me about his adventures so I can post them on my blog (and of course link to you with thanks for your hospitality).

To host a foreign exchange dolphin, leave a comment or email me [editor at mom most traveled dot com] with your plans for him, and I will mail him to you. When his stay with you is complete, you can mail him to the next host family.

He is relatively petite and doesn’t eat much.

Leave your name suggestions and foreign exchange dolphin vacation plans in the comments.

After I gather a few names we will have a vote.

I asked my twins and they believe squeaky would be a great name. We would like to host. The boys could show him around.

Flipper comes to mind but that’s not very creative…

As for names, no idea! I’m so bad at things like that.

Oh Can Can, you come up with the most interesting things! Off the top of my head, I’m thinking names like Dolph and Finn, but that’s a bit much.

Send em my way! We’ll get some photos in Amish country among the Hex signs and buggies.

Ohh, snap, Victoria and Kathleen thought of the same dorky twin names!

[...] Okay, you guys were a big disappointment when I issued the call to name the twin MomMostTraveled.com ambassadors. [...]

I can show him an old gold mine with its buildings and tools and some lovely Victorian architecture! ;) Other than that, though, there’s nothing terribly big or exciting around here.
