CIMG0094 If you are looking for a way to pack a waste-free lunch with a grown-up aesthetic, I would like to commend To-Go Ware for the purpose.
Made from high-quality, non-leaching stainless steel, the To-Go Ware 2-Tier Tiffin container has 2 separate food containers that fit securely together, and also a mini container for the mess-free transport of dressings or sauces.
To-Go Ware 2-Tier Tiffin container appears to be indestructible and is dishwasher safe.

CIMG0093

I like the To-Go Ware 2-Tier Tiffin container not only because it looks cool (I’m shallow), but I also realized that when I typically pack a waste free lunch, it involves many separate containers that I then put into a reusable lunch bag. With the To-Go Ware 2-Tier Tiffin container, the carrier and the dish are one and the same.

It is just much simpler.

Also a winner is the To-Go Ware RePEaT Utensil Set, handfinished heat and stain resistant bamboo utensils in a cute pouch that hangs from a handy caribiner clip.

The To-Go Ware RePEaT Utensil Set includes a fork, knife, spoon, and pair of chopsticks. The pouch itself is made of RPET (recycled PET plastic).

Going green with your lunch will likely save you some green!

I have two lunch sets to giveaway! Two winners will each get their own To-Go Ware RePEaT Utensil Set and To-Go Ware 2-Tier Tiffin container!

1.) To enter to win visit http://www.to-goware.com/ and leave a comment here letting me know something you learned, or a favorite product or feature not mentioned in this blog post.

Try to show that you actually did visit the site.

Please don’t just comment with “Enter me” or “Sounds great”. That totally annoys me. Those entries are not eligible to win.

This contest will close on August 22, 12 midnight CST

Contest closed! Winners announced!

I would love to enter because I have been debating buying these as I have to make lunches this year. THe utensils are a bonus because I have the disposable bamboo but the stronger ones will last longer. This and something insulated for cold items and I am set.

I have had my eye on the To-Go Ware for a long time, but didn’t really have need for it. But I recently started working outside the home and take my lunch, so now I need something grown-up to take it in (right now I’m borrowing my daughter’s lunch bag). If I won, all I would have to buy would be the brown recycled cotton carrying bag!

At the site I read “The North Pacific Gyre is a trash vortex and one of the most studied areas of plastic accumulation in our oceans. At its maximum the area can reach the size of Texas. It is made up of everything from tiny pieces of plastic debris to large ghost nets lost by the fishing industry.” YUCK

I really like their three tier action pack. It’s big enough for an adult to use for bag lunches and even has the untensils. The shinny metal is a real conversation starter, but the nylon bag can make it blend in. :)

Plastic is often mistaken for food in the oceab and has been found inside marine life of all sizes, from whales to zooplankton. It has been directly blamed for the death of a wide range of animals including albatrosses and sea turtles. We can stop this from happening by using reusable products instead of throw-aways!

I learned that The food carrier can be used with heat such as ovens, stove top, toaster oven, or put over an open flame - which makes it great for camping! Like all steel and metal products, it is not safe to use in the microwave.

CONSERVE is a recycling and waste management NGO (non-governmental organization) that was founded in October 2003 in response to the mountains of garbage and litter, especially plastic bags that had become a common sight around the city of New Delhi. Thank you

The owner Stepanie was inspired by the college students who diligently carried their reusable coffee mugs around with them, she believed you could encourage people to expand this practice and use more durable, reusable methods for food as well as beverage, allowing for on-the-go convenience while remaining responsible citizens of planet Earth.
