Tinycandy’s Gift

I love reading Christmasy books to the kids.
I have a pretty good collection of holiday books that I store in an out-of-the-way place so that they are only enjoyed during the proper season.
New to our collection this year is Tinycandy’s Gift, a sweet, fictional story about the origins of the candy cane.

Tinycandy is an elf who is different because he walks with a limp.
Eager to prove himself, Tinycandy works hard to find something to contribute in Santa’s workshop and gain acceptance by the other elves

Tinycandy’s Gift is his ability to make special candies shaped like hooks.

Impressed by Tinycandy’s new talent, Santa christens the special treats “Candy Canes.”

The story of Tinycandy’s Gift is meant to celebrate and validate those of us who are different!
