I was seriously scared! All kinds of images raced through my mind. Something was in the darkness of my kitchen. With claws!

Sadly the camcorder battery died during this “exciting” footage.
I’m trying to learn how to use my new HD camcorder. Using the camera is easy but today I learned that my computer doesn’t recognize the fancy HD files, so right now I can’t use my editing software.
Stay posted. And watch this cute video of Deeds.

ROFL — I’d be scared if I looked out and saw a raccoon that close to my house… but your description of it on Twitter is classic! Thanks for making me laugh.
And, I love brownies, too!

LOL! Cute video. Last summer, I had a family of mom and baby racoons living under my house. We first began to realize this when I had the backdoor open to let a cool breeze in during a hot day. I had set a packet of stale saltines by the door, as I was going to throw them outside for the birds later on. As I’m in the other room, I hear a CRINKLECRINKLECRINKLE and walk back to the door, to see that a racoon had reached their paw inside the door, grabbed the saltines, and pulled them outside to feast on.
This was just one of what would be many mis-adventures. Luckily, we were able to evict the racoon family!

Yikes! Although I much prefer the raccoon to what my hubby saw in the driveway tonight–a rattlesnake!

We have possums and raccoons that eat out of our birdfeeders. And are apparently not afraid of us.
I like brownies, too, Deeds!

The raccoon didn’t even look like he cared you were right there filming him.
Deeds is sweet!

Deeds and I both like brownies!
We have raccoons and possum that eat out of our feeders. Thankfully not quite so close to our house. That area is reserved for the chipmunk and squirrels. *sigh*
