The Three Little Architects

PigsBookAs a preschool teacher, I am becoming more and more well versed in children’s literature for 3 to 5 year olds.

I’m always excited about a new twist on an old favorite, and The Three Little Pigs: An Architectural Tale by author/illustrator Steven Guarnaccia is a great find.

In The Three Little Pigs: An Architectural Tale, the pigs are modeled after three famous architects—Frank Gehry, Phillip Johnson, and Frank Lloyd Wright.

Each architect builds their house in their signature style, including furnishings by the architects and their contemporaries.

There is still the issue of the Big Bad Wolf, so which architect has the sturdiest design of all? Ooh, potential burn!

Thank you to Abrams books for the review copy of this title.
