Swinxs Giveaway
Have you heard about Swinxs?
It is an electronic gaming system, but it doesn’t use video! Swinxs is all about getting kids moving and promoting social interaction!
This is pretty much the opposite result of what most electronic gaming systems provide (sedentary-ness and social isolation).
Swinxs is durable, lightweight, water-resistant and cordless. Charge it up, and the battery lasts for about 4 hours of playtime.
You can take Swinxs anywhere: indoors, outdoors, the park, the beach, or beyond!
Swinxs can be enjoyed in single player mode or with up to 10 players.
Each player wears a colorful wristband that communicates with Swinxs.
Your band starts games and keeps track of your personal profile and scores.
Swinxs comes with 4 wristbands, but you can buy additional wristbands to add more friends to the game.
On the Swinx website, you can choose from a big library of games to upload onto your Swinx console (at no additional cost!)
Can’t find a game you want to play? Visit the Swinxs Developer Community to create your own games.
If I get some more wristbands and a dose of bravery, this would be fun to test in my class of 10 3-year-olds!
Swinxs is like a game from the future! I love that it is SCREEN FREE, gets kids moving, thinking, and listening, and playing together.
This innovative approach to electronic gaming has earned Swinxs a position as a 2009 Toy of The Year finalist (winners not yet announced!).

This system is totally new to me. Before I read your post,

I think that the “Animal Sounds” game would be a lot of fun. My granddaughters are 4 years apart in age, and I think that they could enjoy playing this and the other games together despite the age difference.
