Summer Bridge Activities Giveaway
Jojo is a big fan of workbooks. I mean, he does want to be a self-taught scientist, after all.
We got a new one for the summer. The Summer Bridge Activities workbooks are designed to hone your child’s skills in preparation for the next grade, in only 15 minutes a day.
Jojo likes to do page after page (15 minutes doesn’t satisfy him). The book is full color and includes sturdy grade-level appropriate flash cards.
My favorite bonus is the recommended summer reading list of books to look for at the library.I have referenced it several times this year for inspiration of grade level books to choose for Jojo.
We used the K to 1st book last year, and this time around we got the 1st to 2nd grade book. This new edition also has fitness and character building activities included (such as learning about concepts like “respect”).
Whatever the grade level, you get activities in math, language arts, science, and social studies, including reading and word lists.
I teach preschool and I noticed that the school also keeps the PreK to K book in the resource room. They must think it is good stuff, too!
