Spaceheadz is a real book. Made out of paper about Michael K., a new kid starting 5th grade at a new school.

Awkward? Yes. Even worse, the kids at this new school are actually aliens.

Also? An alien hamster.

The aliens are on a mission to convert 3,140,001 kids to BE SPHDZ.

Michael K is the first SPHDZ convert.

Only 3,140,000 to go.

Author Jon Scieszka (The True Story of the Three Little Pigs, The Time Warp Trio series, The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Fairy Tales, Trucktown series) is a literacy advocate and former elementary school teacher.

This sounds like a great book for the 3rd grade boy that I watch in the summer and after school! I have a horrible time trying to get him to read. I will look into this author and see if his books are at our local library
