Hi Bloggy Giveaways Carnival friends! I am so excited to have a fantastic giveaway here on MomMostTraveled for the carnival!

The Fountain Jet Home Soda Maker from Soda Club allows you to easily make soda at home!

When I first learned about the Fountain Jet Home Soda Maker, I thought of all sorts of advantages to making soda at home!

The Fountain Jet Home Soda Maker can help reduce the amount of waste generated from consuming soda in your home, because it comes with 2 reusable clear plastic (PET)bottles made to last several years.

Each bottle also has a special cap with a hermetic seal to keep the soda from going flat.

I also thought about how those big 24-packs of soda cans are so difficult to lift. There are lots of people out there who love to drink soda but probably shouldn’t be lifting those hernia-inducing heavy cases.

With the Fountain Jet Home Soda Maker, you can have soda whenever you want it without having to heave those heavy cases into your grocery cart.

Surprisingly, making Soda Club drinks at home is also healthier than mass-produced soda.

The Fountain Jet Home Soda Maker uses regular water mixed with the Soda Club flavoring of your choice to make your ideal drink. There are 25 different flavors available.

Regular flavors have 2/3 less carbs, calories and sugar than store-bought sodas, and contain much less sodium. Regular flavors are sweetened with a combination of sugar and Splenda® brand sweetener. Diet flavors are sugar-free and sweetened with Splenda® brand sweetener and contain no aspartame.

The Fountain Jet Home Soda Maker also saves money! You can make sparkling water starting at 20 cents per liter and soda as low as 57 cents per liter. Plus, no more wasted, flat soda.

I love that Soda-Club provides a healthier, environmentally friendly way for my kids to enjoy carbonated drinks without the high-fructose corn syrup in mass-produced sodas. You can use the soda maker to make sparkling water, and then add juice (or juice concentrate) for a kid-friendly sparkling juice drink.

For this review, I let my parents put the Fountain Jet Home Soda Maker to the test!

My parents had to figure out the “how-to” with no help from me, using only the enclosed instructions from Soda Club. I wanted to show that the “average” person could easily make and enjoy soda with the Fountain Jet Home Soda Maker.
A little about their savvy-ness: they are grandparents of three (my niece also stars in this video review). My mom wrote her first e-mail in 2003. My dad has been known to ask me to read manuals that accompany his new electronic purchases so that I can explain to him how to operate them.

Aren’t they a great team? Both born and raised in the heart of the American South. My mom’s fountain of youth is that she has sold Mary Kay part-time since 1992.

That second soda (the volcano) was an example of why you are supposed to add the sodamix flavors VERY S-L-O-W-L-Y!

Soda Club is giving away a Fountain Jet Starter Package to one Mom Most Traveled reader!

For a chance to win this awesome prize (retail value $114.99), visit the Soda Club site and tell me your favorite sodamix flavor and what excites you the most about making soda at home!

One winner will be chosen at random and notified by email.

This giveaway is open to the residents of the continental US and Canada.

Deadline for entry is Sunday, November 2, 12 midnight!

*Contest Closed! Congrats to Millicent C. ! Her extra entry won it for her! Woohoo!*

My favorite flavor is cola. I would love to have a Fountain Jet so I can adjust the flavoring and carbonation. I also like that there would be no carrying of the heavy cases of pop back from the store, and it would cut way down on the cans and bottles we use. Thank you for the wonderful giveaway!

I can’t wait to try the energy drink. I really hate the way Red Bull tastes (yuck!) and I can sometimes really use a boost of energy to get me through the afternoon, so I would very much love to try that and see how it tastes. I also like the Vanilla Cola. That sounds good! My favorite soda is Vanilla Coke so I’m sure it tases a lot like that.

Oh it is hard to pick just one flavor. It is a toss up between Cream Soda and Root Beer. I would love to try either one. YUM! I would be very excited to make soda at home because it would allow the grandkids to drink some soda but not have all the extra sugar and corn syrup.

    Thanks so much.

I think we would like to try the Fountain Mist. I have 2 teenage boys who just think the sun rises & sets on Mt. Dew & I think this would be better for them & something we could do with them at home. And with their friends. :) It’s sometimes hard to think of things to do with my teens. They aren’t interested in sports - we make them go biking & camping & such when we go so they’ll get some excercise! :)

Thanks for having such an awesome giveaway!!!

That was so cute! I loved seeing your parents, and I enjoy listening to a Southern drawl. How funny that it overflowed at the end. You need to have them test out some more stuff and videotape it.

So I suppose I need to tell you the flavor I like: Ginger Ale, my favorite.

I’d like to have one of these so I could reduce the sugar in soda. I like things a little sweet, but being able to add your own flavorings would allow me to control the sugar. Thanks Can Can!
