Eight or nine years ago I tried to make home made oatmeal soap for my sister-in-law for a Christmas gift.
In hindsight, I probably didn’t grind the oatmeal up finely enough, and also in hindsight, my in-laws don’t seem to particularly care for the gifts that I select. I’m still digesting that lesson.
But, I do think that even those “hard to please” people on your list will be impressed with the amazing soaps that you (yes, you!) can whip up with these easy all-inclusive soap kits available at BrambleBerry.com!
There are kits appropriate for soap makers of almost any age and stage to complete.
BrambleBerry.com sells the supplies for making products that kids love AND that they can make themselves.
Check out some great project how-to’s on the Bramble Berry blog at http://www.soap-queen.blogspot.com
There are holiday gifts for everyone from 4 year olds to tweens and beyond!
The Kid’s Kit (final product pictured at the beginning of this post) is something that even preschoolers can help to make.
The kit is less than $20 and includes everything you need to make appealing “amphibian” themed soaps.
Engage your child’s creativity by helping them make their very own fun, personalized soap!
Kids get excited about the neat ingredients like pearberry fragrance, watermelon fragrance, and irridescent glitter!
You can either make something special yourself or give the gift of a kit to make customized bath and body products.
BrambleBerry.com has some great DIY kits under $50, including DIY Soap Kits, a DIY Eye Shadow Kit, and a Bath Fizzy Kit.
I love this adorable Gingerbread Man Kit. For less than $20 you get everything you need to make gingerbread man soaps. I want to take a bite out of him!
Look at the yummy ingredients, all included:
Would you like to win this precious Gingerbread Man Kit? It is the perfect project for a tween to enjoy! Personally I would be tempted to sneak off and complete it on my own!
To enter to win your own Gingerbread Man Soap Kit, visit BrambleBerry.com and tell me the name of another DIY kit you would love to try.
Thanks so much to the Soap Queen for sponsoring this great giveaway!
This giveaway is open to US residents.
One winner will be chosen at random.
This giveaway will close on December 17, 12 midnight CST.
*Congrats to Deborah R!*

For what it’s worth, homemade glycerine soap with oatmeal in it, even the coarse oatmeal, makes for a great exfoliant (much better than the detergent soaps in the stores…)
