Smooshies!
I’m a member of One2One Network, and was recently selected to review a cute and creative toy called Smooshies!
Smooshies are designed to be anything your child imagines. Velcro tabs allow your child to add, remove, and rearrange the facial features, limbs, antennae or wings!
So one Smooshie can have many different looks, serving as a monster, a robot, an alien, or…?
I surprised Jojo by placing the Small Trapezoid Smooshie we received in his car seat one afternoon.
He was immediately taken by it and gave him some hugs. The purple ‘fur’ feels like feathery soft chenille yarn.
I showed Jojo how he could remove the parts and rearrange them to his liking. He sat in the floor and took off every single piece, then put them back on.
When he showed me the results, I admit I couldn’t tell much of a difference from the original design (heh heh). BUT he was very proud with his handiwork!
Since his initial design session, I have seen him carrying around the trapezoid, without any features attached. He has also slept with the ultra-soft body!
I think Smooshies are a neat toy, and you can buy additional features, like crazy eyes and wings, for about $1.99 each. There are also Smooshie games that you can download in PDF form from the site!
