Baby Deeds and I both share a chronic problem: we both have sensitive skin. Deeds has eczema and I have very sensitive, blemish-prone skin.
Because of our sensitivities, I hesitate to try new skin care products in fear of a bad reaction.
I had the opportunity to try Skin MD Natural and was very eager to do so because Skin MD Natural is a shielding lotion. As a shielding lotion, Skin MD Natural protects the skin by actually creating a protective barrier that blocks out harmful chemicals and irritants. The shielding factor also locks in the natural moisture that is already present in the skin. There is a pretty impressive video clip on the Skin MD Natural website that shows the lotion protecting hands from being eaten by acid. Wow! I wonder where they found the hand model who was willing to do that?
I put Skin MD Natural lotion to the test in two ways. The first was the “Freshly Shaven Legs Test.” Happily, there was no burning or instant-rash, like I tend to get with other lotions (especially scented ones). Skin MD Natural is fragrance and colorant free, hypoallergenic, and non-comedogenic, so it doesn’t irritate sensitive skin. I was also pleased that a small amount of lotion seems to cover a large area.
The second way I tested Skin MD Natural was the “Acne Prone Face Test”. Skin MD Natural is non-greasy, dermatology tested, and paraben free, so I decided to take the plunge. It turned out to be a nice, light moisturizer for my face that did NOT cause break outs. This is a fantastic testimonial because just about anything can trigger a breakout on my face, including mineral make-up.
You could spend quite a while on the Skin MD Natural website reading testimonials. I was pleased that Skin MD Natural contains no animal products and was not tested on animals. Two thumbs up!
Look for Skin MD Natural at your local pharmacy (including CVS, Rite Aid, Publix, and Wal-Mart), and stay tuned for your chance to win a 4 oz. bottle ($18 value) at Mom Most Traveled!

It’s true, Rebecca is spot on. These products do work and you can see a tremendous benefit from them. It’s necessary to keep up on it though.
