Sid the Science Kid Microphone

sidMic We have a new toy that both almost-three-year-old Deeds and five-year-old Jojo are enjoying.

Our new Sid the Science Kid Microphone with Sounds and Music is an electronic way to explore the world of sound. It retails for $14.99 and is designed for ages three and older.

The microphone looks just like the one Sid uses on the show, and has four buttons with different functions.

CIMG1814 One button sounds a round of applause, one has canned laughter, one plays the Sid the Science Kid theme song so you can sing along, and the extra fun function: echo mode!

You have to hold down the button to engage any of the functions (that means your child can’t press it once and walk away, leaving a wake of noise).

The Sid the Science Kid Microphone with Sounds and Music has brought lots of laughs to my two boys. They love hearing themselves anyway; this toy is a dream come true for them.
