Pulling Little Capers

SuperBros

My preschooler wants to be a superhero when he grows up. Actually, he is already practicing now, and insists on dressing the part.

It behooves me to have a good supply of superhero costume regalia.

A hero costume for Jojo needs to be high-quality, so that it can withstand multiple washings and daily hero adventures.

Little Capers fit that tall order!

SuperJo3climb

Little Capers are made from 100% cotton t-shirts with appealing, non-violent hero-esque silk-screened designs, and feature shimmery, light weight capes that can be attached by the well-sewn Velcro tabs.

The first day Jojo received his Little Capers shirt, he insisted on sleeping in it. His reasoning was that baby Deeds would wake up in the morning and be in awe of his superhero brother.

Little Capers do give your child some super powers. For example, Jojo can run amazingly fast when he is wearing his Little Capers shirt.

The only downside is that he usually tries to look at his cape while he is running, so that prevents him from being able to see where he is going.

SuperJo2

I think Little Capers really shine on the swing set, when the cape can billow impressively behind your hero as they “fly” through the air.

I don’t know what the shiny silver cape is made from, but it is soft and satiny enough that baby Deeds has tried to borrow it to hold against his face like a blankie. Maybe I should get Deeds a cape next.

Here is some video footage of Super Jojo on a playground at a coffee shop near our home (that is not our muzak)

If your child is a hero at heart, if they wear a polyester superhero costume on a daily basis, or if you have ever had to coax them out of a special clothing item just so you could finally wash it, I think you have the perfect candidate for a Little Capers shirt!

Little Capers has shirts in 7 long sleeved designs and 9 short sleeved designs.

The designs are inspiring for heroes (like Jojo’s Saturn Hero shirt) but with nonviolent connotations. There are  gender neutral designs and girly designs, too!SuperJo

Little Capers also makes Big Capes that aren’t attached to a t-shirt. They are extremely impressive, being a full 31 inches long!

Do you know a baby hero? They don’t have to be left out; Little Capers has 5 long-sleeved infant lap tees made for Smallest Heroes with the same designs as their shirts for big kids, minus the cape.

Little Capers is giving a super hero shirt to one Mom Most Traveled reader!

The winner gets their pick of which Little Capers shirt they would like.

To enter, visit LittleCapers.com and leave a comment here telling me which shirt you think your superhero would like the most!

One winner will be chosen at random.

This giveaway is open to those with a US mailing address only.

This contest will close on December 10, 12 midnight CST.

*Contest closed! Congrats to Christine W!*

That is so funny about Jojo wanting to wear it to bed so Deeds could be impressed in the morning. When I first read it I thought you were going to say so he could save him at night in case there was a fire or something.

I wish some clever parent had invented these when I was growing up. We loved playing superhero, but blankets were too long and cumbersome. I’m assuming my son will love to play superhero too, so I’d probably pick either the phoenix or the lightening design.
