I don’t know much about probiotics, but I was recently introduced to Natren Life Start, a probiotic supplement for babies, and pregnant or nursing mothers.
Healthy infants and young children ward off infection largely through a specific species of beneficial bacteria called Bifidobacterium infantis.
“For infants, the introduction of food other than breast milk is a high-risk period for diarrhea and other digestive tract irregularities and is correlated with a shift in the healthy bacteria in the child’s intestinal tract. This is an especially important time to employ Life Start, the only available source of Bididobacterium infantis, NLS super strain," says Natasha Trenev.
This natural strain of protective bacteria controls inflammation and kills off germs as they enter the digestive tract and must replaced when antibiotics are used.

I was provided with a sample of Life Start which I was not able to use because I didn’t read the fine print that it should be refrigerated.
