Polliwalking
In Southeast Asia, sandals and flip-flops are the shoe of choice. Often times, shoes are removed before entering a home or temple (and even my son’s preschool), so it behooves me to find comfortable, durable sandals that are easy to put on and take off (repeatedly). And, just for personal preference, I want my children’s footwear to be adorable!
It is my pleasure to introduce you to the shoes that have drawn more compliments than anything else my children wear: Polliwalks!
They come in a variety of styles and colors, and Polliwalks clogs have so many fantastic features. In addition to being the cutest thing I will ever see on my boys’ feet Polliwalks are:

- manufactured with NO WASTE (all excess material is recycled)
- environmentally friendly (water-based adhesives, recycled paper and plastic used in the minimal packaging)

- easy on/easy off
- comfortable and soft (so soft that I have to hide them from Deeds when not in use; he is tempted to chew them)
- FUN (animal designs and a “footprinter bottom” that leaves animal footprints when your little Polliwalker treads on sand or mud)
Jojo (age 3 1/2) wants to wear his Polliwalks clogs all of the time. I suspect that he is proud to be able to put them on all by himself. Or, maybe he just thinks his Gator shoes look cool! Either way, these shoes get the seal of approval from my preschooler. 
I wasn’t sure if Polliwalks would be difficult for my early-walker baby Deeds to navigate, but since Polliwalks have a deep heel cup, build in arch support, and a fitted instep, I had nothing to worry about. These shoes do not wiggle and flop on Deeds’ feet! And the true test? Deeds doesn’t try to continually remove his shoes when he is wearing is Polliwalks (that means they are comfortable, even on his baby piggies)!

I really think it’s a cute idea but they need to come out with more choices. None are very girly. Well I guess the ladybug is but to me it doesn’t look girly. Anyway, my daughter would love these. Thanks!*
