Care to guess what my favorite tween-targeted Disney animated series with a character named “Candace” might be?
If your answer was Phineas and Ferb, you are right. High five!
If YOU like Phineas and Ferb TOO, you probably already know that they have an original movie premiering on August 5th, plus there is a real-life Perry the Platy-bus Tour on the move across America, as we speak. And even while you sleep.
Well, the sleeping part might be a stretch.
The brand new original movie, Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension will show on Friday, August 5, 2011 on Disney Channel. If you need to watch it a second time, be sure to tune in Saturday, August 13th at 10 am ET on Disney XD.
The Perry the Platy-bus on Tour started on July 11th. How is it a Platy-bus?, you might ask.

It is a 27 foot long, customized, rounded aluminum Airstream trailer shaped like Perry and equipped with games for fans to play.
Right now the land-beast is driving from New York City to San Diego’s Comic-Con International (July 21-24), and then traveling on to the Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim (August 19-21).
Follow Disney Living on Facebook for the Platybus schedule.
Jojo was thrilled with the sack-o-Phineas-and-Ferb that was delivered to our door. It included a DVD, a CD, shirts, and other goodies, such as themed Mac and Cheese.
Our whole family, including my 3-year-old niece, knows the words to the Phineas and Ferb theme song now.

Disclosure: I received a heap of Phineas and Ferb items and information from the Disney Channel, through Team Mom.
