#PaddingtonMovie: Villains Love Animal Pelts

I remember HAVING a Paddington bear doll when I was a child, and knowing his name but not his story. PADDINGTON is in theaters now, produced by David Heyman (HARRY POTTER).

PADDINGTON is a young Peruvian bear (does that explain the weird hat? I always thought he was English…) who travels to the city in search of a home.

Though it seems he might have found just the home he was looking for with the Brown family, Paddington catches the eye of a museum taxidermist. Which is crazy, why do children’s literature villains often become seduced by the lure of collecting animal pelts?

Starring Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi, Nicole Kidman, and Ben Whishaw as the voice of Paddington, this promo video including insights from cast members like Eddie Redmayne, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Nicole Kidman!
