There are plenty of reasons to want to rebel. The tired joke about the dryer eating socks. Those days - you know, those days - when you just don’t have it together .

I’m talking about wearing matching socks. If you have two feet, why not where two different kinds of socks? Who said we have to have matching socks anyway?

Leading this crazy rebellion against podiatric symmetry everywhere is the zany company Little MissMatched.

They sell socks in packs of three that don’t match. The idea is that if you lose one, no big deal, you’ve still got a pair!

When traveling you could just grab a handful of Little MissMatched socks and go!

Little MissMatched started out selling socks, but has since expanded their Nothing Matches, But Anything Goes! philosophy to books, bedding, pencil pouches, luggage tags and more.

Deeds got a set of some boys toddler socks in the mixter 31, 32, 33 style. They are darling MissMatched argyles; they compliment a variety of outfits.

Little MissMatched provided me with some wonderful ankle socks, and they also want to give one Mom Most Traveled reader three whole sets!

My daughter is sock-o-phobic she thinks socks are highly overrated and hates wearing them. One day we saw these at the store and she said “hey if my socks didn’t have to match, then I’d wear them”. Doh! She entered their design contest awhile back but alas, her pattern was not chosen.

My favorites are the Fabulous 173, 174, 175.
