My Lucky Sun Hat
Our recent trip to Indonesia was my first jaunt in the Southern Hemisphere.
I am always conscious of my lily-whiteness, so I knew I needed to plan for protecting my skin from sun damage while we were exploring the sites.
Sonya from AToyGarden.com pointed me toward the Fabulous Sun Hat, and I was so glad to have it on our adventures.
The Fabulous 
Sun Hat is fabulous because it is rated 45+ Sun Protection Factor, is one size fits all (really!), provides excellent coverage for head, face, neck, and shoulders, and even has a zippered pocket on the inside of the neck flap!
I used my zippered pocket to stash our hotel room key while we were enjoying the beach, but you could easily carry a granola bar, credit card, or go for cool comfort and stick an ice pack in 
there!
I wore my Fabulous Sun Hat while viewing exotic birds, and this Cockatiel thought it was very intriguing. He let me know this by biting my head!

Each order has arrived lovingly packed, with the invoice hand signed by Sonya. Next to her signature she affixes a small wooden ladybug, which Jojo claims by removing the sticky backing and finding ways to entertain himself with it for hours. He loves insects!

Hey! It’s a sunhat a girl can actually wear without looking like a tourist. How delightful and it looks lovely on you, even as you are being pecked.

I do so like the hat! I have long since abandoned the times when being suntanned was “healthy”. Now that I am more aware of the damage sun creates on a cellular level, is not acceptable to me and I shall continue with my pallor. Normally I cannot wear hats without looking silly. but this hat looks fabulous. I will be checking the store out. Thanks Candice!
