Eight or more years ago I was in Pasadena, CA for some reason (hubs and I have talked about it and can’t remember exactly why) and happened upon a simple yet delicious “hole in the wall” type restaurant.
Yesterday, as soon as I arrived in LA, I went back.
Go Fresh Mongolian BBQ.

Fine dining, it is not, but yum!
Step one: Defy gravity by building a Tower of Delicious using the frozen meats, sliced raw veggies, tofu, and noodles.
You only get one chance. Use it.
Step two:
Create a cocktail of delicious sauces using your own personal mixology. Note: more advanced Mongolian BBQ’ers put sauce in the bottom of the bowl after they add meat, but before the veggie tower.
Step 3: Surrender your creation to the Masters. Let them work their magic on the giant Mongolian grill thingy.

Step the last: gorge beyond the point of satiation.
I think I’m still full. Yet I want to go back.

I LOVE those places! The only one of I know of that was close to us has closed down. =( It was all-you-can-eat!

That looks fun and tasty, even if it is served in a Styrofoam box.
We have a Mongolian BBQ in our area, but I just assumed it was all meats. I’ll have to check it out.
