Want to get into a fitness routine but can’t get motivated?
We have a Sansa slotRadio player, and it completely inspired my husband to start getting up early…like 5 am (!) to go running or cycling.
We have been married for nearly 10 years and he has NEVER done anything like this before!
The Sansa slotRadio is a music player that comes pre-loaded with music (1,000 songs, actually), making it effortless to enjoy for people like me who don’t have the time or patience to download hundreds of tunes.
I think this would be a good gift for a music lover who isn’t so technologically savvy.
The songs are already organized into various genres - all you have to do is press play. The slotRadio player gives busy moms a new way of listening to music without the hassle of downloads, software or a PC - it’s one of the simplest music players out there.
We got the ROCK card and it has these playlists: 80’s Rock, 90’s Rock, Classic Rock, Chillout, Workout, Hard Rock, and Alternative.
My husband got motivated by the “Workout” mode. Aww yeah!
Personally I prefer the “chillout” playlist. Even Deeds likes listening to the Sansa slotRadio player. I think he likes the small size and shiny appearance. It is kind of like a thick, metal saltine.
If I had my way, I would get the 80’s and 90’s card! They also have Rock, Country, Classical, Christmas, Heath & Fitness, and other enticing cards, each with 1,000 songs and no downloads.
The Sansa slotRadio player also has an FM tuner so you can use it to listen to the radio, and a belt clip for hands-free listening (the perfect gym companion).
I was really impressed with the battery life…you can go for up to 13 hours between charges. That lasted us over a week! To recharge, just use the included plug for the wall.
The slotRadio player is available online at http://slotradio.com and in Radio Shacks nationwide.
Thank you Sansa slotRadio player, for providing us with a sample of this fun music player!

I actually have a sansa Slot Radio, and I have to agree with you… i actually somehow motivates me to want to work out. I guess because it is fun to use and I am then further motivated by my results. I’ve lost over 30 lbs since I started my workout regimin.
