Moms of Girls: Win Pretty Things
I am a mom of two boys, but I do appreciate the finer, fru-fru things geared toward girls as well. For instance, my favorite Tutu from my favorite tutu-selling Etsy shop, SmellyAnn’s CARE Package Shop is called Tutu Dainty:
I showed Jojo this picture of another one of Smellyann’s tutu creations and asked him what it was:
Jojo: A princess?Mom: It looks like a princess?
Jojo: Yeah
Mom: What is that dress called?
Jojo: Um. I don’t know.
Mom: Is it like a ballerina dress?
Jojo: Yeah
Mom: It’s called a tutu.
Jojo: A tutu dress?
I guess I need to do a better job of schooling my boys in the womanly arts. Is that what I’m supposed to do?
