Of course Miracle in Sumatra: The Story of Gutsy Gus has a message about the plight of orangutans in Sumatra, but the story is also good enough to stand alone and be appealing to children.

I like that Miracle In Sumatra is beautifully illustrated, good children’s literature with an educational message.
