Michael Bolton
I don’t know if I have ever gone into it on this blog, but Michael Bolton and I have a connection.
It is basically this: when I was about 12 it was during Michael Bolton’s long hair phase. I also had long poofy hair. So the mean kids at school called me Michael Bolton.
Thanks, guys. Just to be clear, this picture is Michael Bolton in the 90’s, not me as a teen.
Actually, we do have a lot in common, Michael and I. We are both vegetarian and we both can’t sleep on airplanes! We both are parents! People call both of us Michael Bolton! We should hang out!
Mr. Bolton has a new look these days (he auctioned off his lovely locks for charity ages ago), and he has a brand new record One World, One Love.
Look, we still favor each other! No, I’m not Michael Bolton’s love child. Put that rumor to rest.
One World, One Love includes collaboration with different award-winning singer/songwriters such as Lady Gaga and Ne-yo.
One World, One Love has tracks in a variety of musical styles, from the reggae-ish “Ready for You” to the pop-love-ballad feel of “The Best”.
Mr. Bolton will also be embarking on a 6-month World Tour with stops across the US and Europe through September of 2010.

Seriously anything he does is GREAT! I used to have all of his music and then he just disappeared in the early 90s. I was so bummed. I am so thrilled that he is back!!
