The brains behind WiseBread.com, the blog that tells you how to live large on a small budget, have published their frugal tips in book form, and there are a LOT of them!
The book, 10,001 Ways to Live Large on a Small Budget
has easily digested tips for saving money on just about ANYTHING (food and drink, travel, health and beauty, fun and entertainment, shopping, green living, education), plus LOADS of personal finance advice!
10,001 Ways to Live Large on a Small Budget is all about living LARGE, not about living like a freaky tightwad (which I’m not opposed to…).
You can save money and still live the good life.
The tips are in list form (i.e, 6 Tips for Buying Great Affordable Wine, 7 Beauty Secrets that Cost Almost Nothing, 7 Ways to Score Free Food, 50 Ways to Get the Most Out of Health Care, 12 Fabulous Frugal Party Ideas, Best & Worst Places to Stash Cash at Home) so you can scan and get what you need. Plus it keeps it from getting boring.
10,001 Ways to Live Large on a Small Budget is very well done. I have read many books about frugal living and 10,001 Ways to Live Large on a Small Budget one of the best!
There is no condemnation in these pages, no berating you for not making frugal choices in the past. Just information. How refreshing.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much useful information is packed into the 352 pages of 10,001 Ways to Live Large on a Small Budget.
Good stuff from ALL of the contributing authors: Andrea Dickson, Carrie Kirby, David DeFranza, Greg Go, J.D., Julie Rains, Leo Babauta, Linsey Knerl, Lynn Truong, Margaret Garcia-Couoh, Myscha Theriault, Nora Dunn, Paul Michael, Sarah Winfrey, Sharon Harvey Rosenberg, The Digerati Life, Thursday Bram, Trent Hamm, Will Chen, and Xin Lu!

Sounds like a really interesting book. I’ll have to check it out next time I’m at the book store or library
I love to find new and creative ways to save money while helping my grandkids and senior mom. Some of my favorite books in the past included the Tightwad Gazette Series. This sounds like a worthy companion to those.
Thanks for the info!
