Little Music Lovers
If you want your little ones to appreciate classical music but you don’t know quite where to begin, a new CD series called Little Music Lovers is a great initiation!
I received a sampler for review, which contains tracks from each of the four CD’s in the Little Music Lovers series. There is Little Music Lovers: Mozart - Smart Music for Play Time, Little Music Lovers: Beethoven - Smart Music for Story Time, Little Music Lovers: Lullabies - Smart Music for Bed Time, and Little Music Lovers: Bach - Smart Music for Activity Time.
Each collection sets the mood for the activity of the moment, providing a mind-stimulating soundtrack for every day life.
The CD’s sell for around $7 each on Amazon.com and are also available for download in MP3 format.
You will recognize some familiar tracks, like Für Elise, Moonlight Piano Sonata, and Ave Maria, as well as lesser known classical tunes.
Lately I have been working as a teacher in a 3-year-old preschool class. Every day we have music time where we actively listen and dance to different CD tracks.
I noticed that when I also have music playing during “free play time”, the overall mood is more calm and controlled. I think my classroom is going to be a music zone!
