Lillebaby EveryWear Carrier

On Monday I will be flying to Southeast Asia with Jojo and Deeds.

It is a really long trip and we have four connecting flights. Hometown to Atlanta, Atlanta to Japan, Japan to Bangkok, and Bangkok to Laos.

This time instead of my trusty Ergo carrier, I will be toting Deeds in a LilleBaby EveryWear.

I decided to switch after years of Ergo use because the EveryWear is lighter, the fabric more breathable, and able to adjust to be worn with the baby facing outward.

It is wind and water resistant and lined with breathable micro fiber. I have worn it around the house and it seems that the “sweat risk” is lower with the EveryWear than with the Ergo.
The Ergo gives me a ring a sweat around my waist. Delicious.

The Lillebaby EveryWear retails for $99.95 and is available in four different colors. We have Whole Latte Love – latte with cream lining.

Stats:

Age: Front Inward Facing Carrier (7 to 25 pounds) (must use the infant cradle and harness for babies 7 – 15 pounds – sold separately)
Front Outward Facing Carrier (when child is able to support head (about 4 months) to 25 pounds)
Hip Carrier (15 to 43 pounds)
Back Carrier (when child is able to sit independently (about 5 to 6 months) to 43 pounds)
Product weight: 10 ounces
Exterior and fill – 100% polyester microfiber
Lining and Hood – 100% cotton jersey

So if you have never owned this style of carrier and are torn as to which one to choose, I recommend the Lillebaby. I used an Ergo for 5 years, but the EveryWear seems to have improved on everything that was negative about the Ergo.

I’m curious how this will work for you carrying your son for an extended period.

Question: I’m struggling with a little buyer’s remorse. i have the lillebaby sport and i’m wondering if the straps are less “padded” than the original everywear and/or the ergo? i LOVE that is not as HOT, but wonder if it’s lacking on strap padding!

the lillebaby is the best! i use it with my newborn with the cradle insert, and wear him all day, especially when he has colic. the cradle position is better than the vertical (baby bjorn-style) position because his head doesn’t bob around, even when you bounce, bend over, and so on. it also allows him to pass wind more easily when he has GI upset. Best of all, it is breathable and uv-filtering ( I have the sports mesh version). most of my friends purchased moby wrap, baby bjorn AND ergo for different ages and uses, but they are all envious of my lillebaby all-in-one.
