I completed my undergraduate degree at a traditional public university, but was fortunate enough to complete my Master’s Degree through a combination of distance learning and on-campus classes.
I am currently taking classes online for continuing education to keep my teaching degree all shiny and new.
Working full time and being a mom of two and living overseas pretty much leaves online classes as my only option for continuing ed.
I won’t try to glamorize it: it is hard work! But I’m very glad to be making progress toward my goal.
American Public University (APU) has more than 100 degree programs that can be completed entirely online.
Classes start on a monthly basis, so you aren’t limited by traditional school “semester” chunks.
APU also has some of the lowest tuition rates in the country: undergraduate classes cost $750 per 3-credit course.
If you already have your bachelor’s degree, APU also has graduate programs for those looking to advance their careers.
APU has some live chats coming up where you can speak with other Moms about their experience going back to school at APU:
