Kung Zhu

I was uninitiated into the world of Zhu Zhu pets until I got a big honking box of Kung Zhu products from MomSelect.

We got the whole shebang: the Kung Zhu Battle Arena so our hamster warriors could fight to the death, the Kung Zhu Training Special Forces Alpha obstacle course for developing Kung Zhu skills, Training Special Forces Bravo, Ninja Warrior Training Ground, a Drayko Ninja Warrior hamster, a Yama Ninja Warrior hamster, and even some Battle Armor.

We are all set for some sweet Kung Zhu battlery.

The Kung Zhu hamsters come with a plastic piece with ridges on it. When you line up the bottom of the hamster with the ridges and drag it through, that makes it “power up” and get ready for battle.

“Battle” just means rolling back and forth until someone gets knocked over. The knocked over one loses.

I find the battles hilarious. Sometimes both parties involve just simultaneously tip over. A fight to the finish!

CIMG1853 The boys like the Zhu Zhu pets. They make cute noises and move on their own. But they have gotten the most play value out of the Kung Zhu Battle Arena.

Deeds likes to put toy vehicles in the Kung Zhu Battle Arena and use it for some kind of monster truck setting.

Jojo keeps asking for MORE Zhu Zhu pets and accessories, so that means he is really into Kung Zhu.

I don’t know if he has a favorite when it comes to Special Forces Kung Zhu Pets vs. Ninja Warriors Kung Zhu Pets.

I might choose Ninja. Just because.
