It’s All In The Interpretation

When I got excited about dyeing our own play silks, some people asked, “What do you do with them?”

Usually I say something like, “They are great for open ended play! They can be capes, a “camp fire”, a doll blanket, a “river”, or anything the child can imagine!”

Maybe that answer wasn’t the complete truth.

Here is what really happens at Casa de Mom Most Traveled when we break out the play silks:

I call it “exploring our artistic sides”.

Ultimate Blog Party 2009 This post is definitely party worthy! If you need more party, visit the Ultimate Blog Party at 5 Minutes for Mom. It really is the ultimate; a bagillion blogger participants and something like 200 prizes. Woot!

Thanks for dropping by my site! I was at yours earlier tonight and tried to leave a comment but it kept telling me comments were closed. I love your dance - it soooo reminds me of when my boys were littler and we used to rock the house. I need to crank the tunes tomorrow and get us going again!
