Is That Your Pillow?

Is there a child in your life who would love to have a pillow with their very own name on it?

When I was growing up, my name wasn’t typically found on the rack of personalized key chains and toothbrushes on the racks at gas stations across America. I would have loved one of these pillows!

These are from a favorite ebook at YouCanMakeThis.com.

People have loved making these for their children because the instructions are written in a way that even a person who has never sewn before can do it!

So yes, YOU CAN MAKE THIS! The instructions are easy to follow and not intimidating in the least!

YouCanMakeThis.com is offering TWO Mom Most Traveled readers a free copy of the Personalized Pillow pattern ebook!

1.) To enter to win, just leave a comment telling me how many children you would make personalized pillows for! Share their names if you like!

(You may enter once a day - following entries don’t require you to answer the question.)

2.) Email subscribers get an extra entry for as long as their subscription is active.

Already a subscriber? Leave me a separate comment on this post to let me know you’re interested in this giveaway.

Want to subscribe? Just click here: Subscribe to Mom Most Traveled by Email (Only verified subscriptions are entered for all the giveaways.)

Leave me a link in the comments of where to find it.

3.) Twitter about this giveaway (include a link to this page and @MomMostTraveled ) and comment here with your Twitter name.

Please don’t just comment with “Enter me” or “Sounds great”. That totally annoys me. Those entries are not eligible to win.

Two winners will be chosen at random.

This giveaway is open worldwide.

This contest will close at 11:59 pm CST, May 5, 2009

*Closed, congrats to Amy H. and Serena (nonblogger!)*

I am everyone’s “Aunt Carolyn” because I don’t have any kids. I make stuff for the kids at the homeless shelter as they come in (like make-shift purses that they can pack their own stuff in while they’re there). The kids names I’d start with are Callie, Tracy, Lauren, Jared, Aaron, Meghan & Tippie. Your site is really great and I’m glad I found it today!

I would love to make them for my children, grandchildren and friends and neighbors. Injured by a drunk driver in 2001 I’m always looking for ways to make some extra cash to supplement my disability income and this sounds like a great way to earn some money and make a lot of children happy at the same time. I’m sure once I learn how to make them I can even become more creative and includes Moms and Dads too! And lets not forgot Grandparents who need a little love and recognition now and then.
