If Parenting Was Like Hosting A Children’s Show

Yesterday I made grilled cheese sandwiches with leftover spaghetti sauce in it for my kids’ lunch.

I was cutting a muffin in half for them to share for dessert, and I had this rush if inspiration and confusion

I thought, “Why do children’s shows address the audience in that psuedo excited yet condescending way? I taught preschool and I never talked to the kids like that. But….supposing I DID!? What would happen?”

Yeah I thought all of that while slicing through a muffin.

So I opened up the MacBook, pressed record, and did this:

I’m not sure what I learned from my experiment. But I think I want to do that again.

LMAO I loved that! Especially your entrance and exits. I think you could have your own kids show. :) They looked like they enjoyed it though. I wonder if it would wear off after a while or if they would continue to like it. Hmmm.
