Head Snuggler

If you have a child who spends any time riding in the car, you have no doubt caught sight of them in a deep sleep, head lolling about between the two sides of the car seat.

Or what about when they are little babies and you take them out of the car, pumpkin seat and all? Definite head lolling happens when you are trying to unlock the seat from the base!

A concerned mom came up with a solution: the Head Snuggler!

The Head Snuggler is sown in the shape of a pillow case with a hole at the top seam for the car seat anchor strap. The fabric is stretchy knit material, made to fit over most infant, toddler and booster car seats.

You can put the Head Snuggler on the car seat and wait until your child falls asleep to pull it down over their forehead or eyes. This keeps your child’s head and neck comfortable and secure during sleep!

When I first heard about the Head Snuggler, I thought it seemed like an odd, “crazy” invention. But then when I thought of all of the times a Head Snuggler could have come in handy during the past couple of years, I became a fan!

Jojo, at age 4, was actually a willing test subject. I just explained to him how the Head Snuggler and he was happy to try it out. He is pictured here with the Head Snuggler over a Recaro Vivo Booster Car Seat in Cobalt Blue.

I really wish that I had the Head Snuggler when Deeds was still using the infant car seat. I used to take a tiny infant neck pillow and wedge it under his flabby baby double chins to try to keep his head still in the car. The pillow didn’t stay put, and I kind of worried about it becoming dislodged and obstructing his airways.

I think the Head Snuggler would be good to have for a family road trip; it can also be used with an umbrella stroller (the kind with no visor)!

Thank you, Melrose Kids, for sending us a Head Snuggler to enjoy!

I have thought the same thing! Why don’t car seats come equipped with something like this! It’s awesome! I am going to have to purchase one.
