Happy Anniversary!
Nine years ago today, Nick and I started our life of wedded bliss together.
9th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Traditional Anniversary Gift: Pottery
Modern Anniversary Gift: Leather
What we actually got each other: I gave Nick a sugar packet that was made by “Sweet Mate”. I thought it was appropriate.
He gave me: nothing.
We are too tired and harried to celebrate.
Nick’s birthday was two days ago and we went out to dinner with friends. We had another “date” with friends last night, and even another tomorrow night.
Nine years sounds like a long time when I say it, and several people chortled and choked today when I told them which anniversary we were celebrating, but as cliche’ as it sounds, it really has gone by fast.
Now with nine years of memories under our belts, I find it hard to imagine a future without Nick.

Happy Anniversary! That is such an unexpected photo…it’s so traditional, and I imagined you got married at the top of a mountain in a sundress or something. But you both look so gorgeous and handsome, respectively.
We’re celebrating our 9th this year too, in October. I’m glad (and sad) to know that Chris isn’t the only one who doesn’t give me a gift. Oh well, maybe for our 10th.

We hit our 9 years in February and it does go by fast. And as a reoccuring theme, I also didn’t get a present, nor did I get one for Mother’s Day, nor for my birthday this month. We’re really busy too, but things HAVE to slow down soon.

We celebrated big for our 10th, but this year - 11th - we kind of just let it slide.

Wow, gorgeous picture! It will be 9 years for us on June 16th. I told my husband that next year for #10 I want a trip. Not fancy, just a few hours away…peace and quiet for a few days LOL.

Aw, Happy Anniversary! I know what you mean about time going fast… It’s been 6 years for us and it seems like yesterday. But I think it goes by fast in a happy marriage. I can see how 9 years (or even 6!) would sound like a lot to a couple who are unhappily married.

Happy Anniversary! (sorry I’m late - just got caught up!)
Kent and I don’t really celebrate either. It’s one of the few days a year my mom does volunteer to babysit though. Since it is in November that is always the day we do our Christmas shopping, haha.
Anyway, I hope you two have a lot more anniversaries to celebrate! xoxo
