Last week I had a night mare. I dreamed that I went to BlogHer ‘09 and forgot my business cards, my promotional post cards, my swag bags, and even my memory card for my camera.
I woke up in a bit of a panic.
Well, obviously that isn’t ACTUALLY going to happen, but I definitely want to be prepared for networking it UP at BlogHer ‘09!
I’m going to be partying with Energizer, in the Social Luxe lounge, and who knows where else. I have already RSVP’d for more than 3 parties.
I’m looking forward to meeting Kathleen from Katydid and Kid, Naomi from Superdumb Supervillain, and hopefully Megan who blogs at Fried Okra. I we have read each other’s blog lives since 2004.
I also wonder what it is going to be like seeing lots of blog superstars who I “know” from twitter and reading their blogs, but don’t really “know”, you know?
I just ordered 125 MMT swag bags to hand out to certain influential people at BlogHer. If you are going to be at BlogHer (or even if you aren’t) and you want your blog or business represented in the swag bag, please contact me for details about how you can be included.
The bags are really cute! They are reusable gift bags with a picture of a globe.
I’m getting 500 free business cards from UPrinting.com. That should be enough! UPrinting has also paid to advertise on my site and has provided me with 500 MMT postcards. I’m glad to be partnering with them; it has been really beneficial!

Ok, not to be crass…but this is really just a sponsored post right? I was expecting something else and well I suppose I just got sucked in…Frankly, it matters little what women are bringing to blogher or any other conference for that matter. I was looking for some content and sadly I was let down. Have fun on your venture to Chicago. I seriously hope that they have something of value for you.

Looking forward to seeing you, too!
