Nick got to go meet someone at Krispy Kreme for a manly business talk. He came home with 1 dozen free donuts and three paper hats.
You can see the progression in the three photos as Deaky struggles to free his head from the bondage of paper hatness:

This was Deaky’s first time in the grass. After a few minutes of Jojo wallowing all over him I asked him to show me how fast he could run. That bought me some time. They do look like a sweet pair of brothers though!

I forgot to post Jojo’s proud moment from last Saturday. He rode a pony by himself at a local Easter egg hunt. Obviously the pony is tied to rotating frame, so when I say “by himself” I really mean that he was one kid out of six who didn’t have a parent physically holding on to his body during the “ride”.
He looked really focused the whole time, but when it was over he BEAMED with pride!
