Tea Party: Preserve the Memories with dotPhoto EuroBook

Our little Tea Party is coming to an end, though there will be many more prizes to be won next week, they will be for the children.

The party might be over, but we will always have the memories, right? How better to preserve them than with a Eurobook custom photobook from Dot Photo?

Most of us have made a custom photobook before, but be prepared to be blown away by the breadth of options and depth of quality offered by Eurobook!

I am a bit of a photography snob. I minored in photography in college, spending countless hours developing my own photos and film in the campus darkroom. I was convinced that digital photography would never be able to equal the quality and versatility of traditional black and white images.

Okay, so I didn’t know much about technology, but I do know a good print quality when I see it, and it is with great anxiety that I entrust my photos to an online printing company.

To create a dotPhoto EuroBook, you download an easy-to-use program from their website.
From there, the sky is the limit, dotPhoto EuroBook doesn’t have restrictive, unchangeable layouts. You are free to add text and photos on every page, on the front and back covers, and even on the spine. You can add as many images and as much text as you like to any page. Isn’t that fabulous?
Pictures can “bleed” to the edge of a page or span across two facing pages. You can insert a large picture as a page background and then overlay smaller pictures to provide detail.

There are so many creative options to make your dotPhoto EuroBook uniquely reflect you. I have never used a photobook program quite like dotPhoto EuroBook’s. In fact, it has been called, “The World’s Best Photobook Software.

dotPhoto EuroBook groups photos by colors and texture, matches backgrounds, and creates a book that looks professionally designed.

These are only suggestions, and you are still free to change any layout you don’t completely love.

Each book is professionally bound (not back stitched) and looks like the finest “coffee table” book that you might buy in a book store. When you hold a dotPhoto EuroBook, you feel the quality. When you give a dotPhoto EuroBook, people exclaim, “How did you do this?”

dotPhoto EuroBook is giving away a $100 gift certificate to one Mom Most Traveled Tea Party Guest.

The gift certificate specifies that you may use it to purchase any ONE dotPhoto EuroBook. Since the dotPhoto EuroBook prices start from $9.00 to $68.95 (for 26 pages), this will allow you to add extra pages and features, up to $100!

To enter, visit the dotPhoto EuroBook website and tell me which dotPhoto EuroBook you would choose, and which cover. Also tell me how you would use your dotPhoto EuroBook. I am working on a “Baby’s First Year” book for my 15-month-old!

One winner will be chosen at random.

This giveaway is open to US residents.

This contest will close on Tuesday, November 25, at 12 midnight CST.

Sadly, this does not look MAC compatible, but here it goes. I would choose the large hardcover in Blue Linen and create a book about my boys’ upcoming trip to the Florida Keys with their grandparents.

I’d do the large Eurobook with a black linen cover and I’d make a photo journal chronicling the 2 1/2 years my husband and I have been together…our getting to know one another, our engagement and wedding, our adopting a punk of a kitten, the fun outings and random day-to-day stuff…and ending with a picture of a positive pregnancy test. The next part of our adventure will have to be saved for the NEXT photo book!!

I’ve done other books like this and given them for gifts, but they were not this versatile. I would make the large book, and since I am not a very diligent scrapbooker, I would like to make one each year to document our family, but have compact clean books like this instead of big, TIME CONSUMING, expensive scrapbooks. I posted a blog and linked everything. Thank you for finding and sharing this.

I can’t believe I stubbled upon your blog! This would be a perfect Christmas present for my cousin! We are the same age- 26 going to be 27 soon. Growing up her parents never bother to take pictures even though they are a big family of 11. But my family does. And we have pictures of them. I recently went to FL to visit my mom and found a bunch of pictures I was planning on scanning and sending them to my cousin. But the square eurobook family album would be 10 times better! I would love the booklet and pic out my own photo and saying for the cover.
My cousin currently has 2 children and another baby girl due in January. We’ve talked on the phone about how fast time flies by and how important it is to take pictures and preserve memories. Also it’s important to share them with the new generation of children to help them connect to their family.
