Entertainment Book Giveaway

I’m thrifty to the bone!
Before kids, hubs and I used to plan our dates around what coupons we hadn’t yet used in our Entertainment Book!

When you order an Entertainment Book, you are buying one specific to your geographic area, so your Entertainment Book is full of awesome coupons to local restaurants and attractions.

My favorite section is of course the restaurant coupons, and I enjoy the challenge of trying to eat my way through the Entertainment Book! Plus since the coupons are very generous (usually buy one entree, get the second free!), we can afford to go to restaurants that were previously out of our league.
You can then save money for other important stuff, like pony murals in your kid’s room.

Just kidding! I found this picture when I was browsing real estate listings and it made me laugh out loud! What a selling point, eh?

Do you want to win an Entertainment Book? Nothing beats free!

1). To enter for your chance to win an Entertainment Book, leave a comment telling me a really good deal you have gotten!

2.) Email subscribers get an extra entry for as long as their subscription is active.

My husband loves the entertainment books. We got a coupon once that was sponsered by them and Rent-a-center that was good for upto 5 coupons. One was by one get one free Pita Pit and that was yummy, only cost $5something for the two of us to eat when its usually around $13-14

I love a good deal, and we had one Entertainment book a few years ago that we got a lot of use out of. I remember getting some work done on our car for a great deal (though I can’t remember what the savings was), along with lots of restaurant coupons.

For starters, the Entertainment Book gives us really good deals each time we use it! We try to share our good fortune by using their fabulous pizza coupons & restaurant deals in our friends and neighbors. Our best deal was the minivan we bought a year ago, right around the time the economy plummeted. :( We saved at least $8k on the price b/c they couldn’t unload those things (but we needed one!)

My mom is the one that comes to mind when I think of a good deal. She went to K-Mart one year before Christmas to get some radios that were advertised. They didn’t have them so she got a a better radio for the same price, plus she was using layaway on a day that they give discounts to seniors and when she got them out of layaway they gave her another discount.

Oddly enough, the best deal I got recently was on a fresh side of pork. The price of pig has dropped drastically and I was driving by main street and saw a sign in the meat market window saying 1/2 a pig was $99 processed! What? Really? Yep. We have a freezer full of pork chops, roast, bacon, etc. Now that is a savings!

I once got a new propane grill for hubby that the store was selling for $300. I got it for $150 because they said it was damaged. Come to find out, someone had bought it and put the legs on wrong and returned it saying it was damaged.

I bought halloween candy the other day at Safeway. They had a special, 2 for $5, but $2 each if you use your club card and buy 4 bags, and some bags had $0.50 coupons attached, so I made sure to get 4 with coupons, and paid $1.50/each!

Last time we went to Vegas, we got 5 days at MGM for $52 a night plus 3 free buffets per day for each of us. We drove there for $98 in gas, and then I had a coupon for buy 1 get 1 tickets to Cirque du Soleil. Then b/f hit a small jackpot and won enough to pay for the whole trip. Cheapest, best vacation ever!
