Dudley’s Solo

Dudley’s Solo is a children’s book with a touching message, written by Tiffany Alexander.

Dudley cannot hear or speak, and longs to participate in the church choir with his friends Ebenezer, Esmerelda, and twins Dezzi and Tito.

This is a great book that shows children how to overcome obstacles, how to embrace and overcome challenges and problems, and to never give up!

Dudley’s Solo is a good resource for teaching kids about disabilities, as it can open the doors for questions and discussions for you to explore with your children at home.

Dudley’s father and friends are very supportive and encourage Dudley to realize his dream!

I like the colorful illustrations in Dudley’s Solo and the positive message about supporting disabled friends to reach their full potential, without pity!

Dudley and his friends, who are all members of “Children’s Band” together, have an interactive blog where they post discussion questions every Thursday.

There are more stories in the works about each of the members of the Children’s Band! I am looking forward to seeing what is in store!

Thank you Phenix & Phenix for giving me a review copy of this uplifting story!
