My kids LOVE this series! (and so do I!)

Jr High was such an awkward time for us all – but if I had to pick, my angst would have been that we were poor at the time and I had to wear my aunts hand me down clothes that were a decade out of style and too big, UGH!

Mine was being extremely shy and having kids walk up behind me and knock the books out of my hands.

7th grade~ Mine was losing my painting which was a current project for art and the teacher telling me not to bother starting a new one. (because I had NO artistic ability at all) The paintings stayed in class, looking back he probably burned it to save everyone from the horror.

I was always the fat girl growing up and 7th grade meant middle school, where I was picked on even more and didn’t fit in with anyone with my home-sewn over-sized clothes. I was bullied so much and remmeber spending study halls doing the home-work of 2 girl bullies in the class to avoid getting beat up on or having gum thrown in my hair….sad sad days those were!

My best friend since the first grade moved away in the seventh grade.
We had always had the same homeroom and classes together. And I basically felt lost the rest of the year without her.

I had my first period during class and found out as I went to stand up to change classes. I was absolutely mortified and would not get out of my chair. Luckily my teacher was a female and helped me out. It was one of the worst days of my school year.

My best 7th grade angst memory would have to go out to my teacher at the time, Mr K! We were basically scared of this guy cause he walked up and down beside our desks and told us he would give us his ‘spock shock’ if he caught our eyes wandering lol! Really he was just a great guy but when you’re so young it’s pretty scary!

These movies relate to the youth of today. I am so glad that this series of books have been brought to life by these movies. Children everywhere have enjoyed this series of books. Anything to get children off of the couch and get them reading. The movies inspire the books!

Ugh, In science class I “leaked” a little and had a small blood stain on the back of my jeans. Luckily one of my friends gave me her jacket to tie around my waist to walk to gym which thankfully was my next class. there I changed into sweats and just stayed in them all day. Of course after gym i had math with my crush and he asked me why I was wearing sweats since I had jeans on earlier. I was like oh I dunno just felt like being comfortable. So he kinda laughed and was like yeah I heard you got your period. By lunch time the rumor had spread and in between classes I belined for the nurses office and asked to lay down because I didn’t feel good. She let me lay there for a while and asked if I wanted to go home – HECK YEAH I DID! Luckily the nurse and my mom had been friends in highschool so I had a slightly easier time going home “sick” than most kids

I never heard the end of it the rest of the year, particularly from this one other boy who was seriously just an A**H***.
