Conversation With Jojo
We are test driving a new babysitter this week, because our current one is 8 months pregnant. I’m trying to work as a substitute teacher so I need someone that can be “on call” in case I get called in to sub.
Daeng came over this morning before I took Jojo to school so that she could meet the boys.
Jojo was excited to have someone new (she is younger and understandably more energetic than the pregnant baby sitter) and was sad to leave her to go to school.
In the car Jojo started singing a song about Daeng and “Larry Boy” (the superhero version of Larry the Cucumber from Veggie Tales).
Me: “Is Daeng a hero, too?”
Jojo: “Yes.”
Me: “What is her super power?”
Jojo: “Phonics!”
The power of phonics! Wow! Maybe I am super, too!
