Care Bears: Bear Buddies DVD Giveaway
Those of us who grew up in the original era of Care Bears can share the excitement with their own offspring now.
What got me excited about Care Bears: Bear Buddies was that 1) it is about Care Bears and 2) IT COMES WITH A FREE CARE BEAR TOY!
Care Bears: Bear Buddies is 88 minutes long includes eight different Care-Beary stories.
It takes place in Care-a-lot (remember?!) and they adventures span everything from the Care Bears creating a rockin’ music band to trying to cheer up a sad friend.
The episodes are:

I used to watch them all the time, so much that my VHS tape wore out and was unplayable! Recently my 3.5yr old son saw an episode on tv and has been obsessed ever since, he wants to always watch it but we can’t find it again

in elementary school my good friend’s name was Karen. People started calling her “Kare-Bear” as a nickname. I wanted to be Kare-bear so bad to have such a cool nickname i wished you could change your name as a child so I could make mine Karen and get called after the Carebears

I remember years ago my daughter had to have a minor surgery,but she an I both were still scared,so I got her the Cheer bear an she cuddled it all through that time in our lifes an kept it for a long,long time afterward

My friends and I used to play carebears. We would always make our friend Jason the bad guy– he was the boy! We would make the gray would colorful by throwing dandelions on the “gray”.

As an early-chlldhood teacher, I remember how much my kindergarten children loved their Care Bears. They brought their care bears to school one day and we had a Care Bear picnic - honey on toast!! And napped with our bears!

We kept our Care Bear dolls for when we had kids, and it’s really amazing to watch our daughter, now 3, play with the same Bears. She’s a huge fan of the Care Bears movies, too, and it really brings back old memories!

I grew up loving care bears and still today i have my own stuffed animals and even clothes of the care bears and now my 4 year old daughter loves them too as much as I do…We sit down together and watch care bears together all the time.

My friends and I used to watch the Care Bears and had the Care Bears Movie. We even had a place in the woods that was “Care-a-lot”. Recently, I picked up the video for my daughter at a yard sale and she fell in love with it. I can’t believe something I loved so much 20 years ago is still so big with young kids!!

I remember watching my first care bears movie at my grandmother’s house at christmas. I was around seven or eight years old. But my grandmother watched the whole movie with me.

I grew up watching the care bears and I LOVED them! I used to go play with this girl who was actually several years younger than me, but she had all the Care bears movies and I loved watching them! My favorite bear was Cheer Bear!

main entry: my last care bear memorie was almost 6 yrs ago when I helped my daughter have her baby shower for my grandson. She was doing his nursery in care bears so that was the shower theme. The invitations & everything was care bears which worked out great because almost every gift was care bear related too. The center piece was my favorite. I had bought him all the big stuffed care bears and I used a big basket filled with cotton batting as the cloud with all the bears inside it & tied care bear balloons filled with helium to the brim handle so it looked like they were in a hot air basket. She loved everything and it was a very care bear day of lasting memories for her. I’d love to win this for my great niece who loves care bears. thanks

My Care Bear memory is from my child hood. I collected Barbie, Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears. My best friend begged and begged me to let her take my Care Bear collection home to play with it for a week. Finally I gave in and she up and moved the very next weekend. I forgive her though. I truly don’t think she knew she was going to move. My mother told me to look at it as a good bye present. I wonder if she still has them?

When I was a first grader, I spent most of my recess in the libray because I just love books. Well, i checked out and read all of the Care Bear books, and when I was through reading them, I wrote a note to the librarian requesting that she order more..she never did. :[ Noone ever takes a 7 year old seriously.

My niece loves the Care Bears. On her 15th birthday, her cake was made with that spray on picture stuff of a Care Bear scene. She’s expecting her first baby in January, I would love to start the baby off with Care Bears.
