I thought reusable shopping totes were pretty much all the same, but then I was introduced to its-las-tik!

Sue Princiotto has designed a fashionable,flexible and socially responsible reusable shopping bag!

Its-las-tik are glamorous shopping bags made from a stretchy, flexible nylon and lycra blend. Besides a sleek look, these bags are superior to cotton or plastic bags because they can stretch to accommodate whatever you put into them. You now how plastic bags cut into your fingers and stop blood circulation in your hands when you are loaded down with groceries? Its-las-tik bags are actually comfortable and easy to carry because the lycra “gives” under the load, bouncing gently with each step and moving WITH your body.

I had my Its-las-tik bag loaded down with groceries and two glass coffee mugs. As I walked along, the mugs didn’t even clink together because of the way they were cradled by the lycra.

And maybe it was my imagination, but it sure did seem like the cleaning lady in the restroom suddenly brightened and threw me a cheery “Hello!” only after she saw my cool sparkly silver shopping bag.

These are cool, and they look like something you might take to your local adult shop for your dominatrix purchases!

Ok, let’s get serious. I love that these are stretchy and aren’t the typical off-white cotton reusable bags. My favorite is the Big Easy pattern.

For some odd reason I’m synch with our local firefighters, they seem to always do their grocery shopping when I do. Recently I was in line behind them, and they chastised me for not having my own shopping totes, I would love to win the Flambeaux (Stretchy Patent), it’s such a bright red, kind of firetruck reminiscent and is very attention catching. This way the next time I go shopping and they are there, I will point out the bags to them! Wonder if these bags are strong enough to carry a cute firefighter away in???

This is a great local company that is helping the people of the New Orleans area. I love companies that make a difference.
Since I live in the New Orleans area, I’ve seen first-hand the destruction that Hurricane Katrina brought and also see how much further we have to go in recovery.
Hats off to Its-las-tik for their great work and efforts.
Their Hope Nola bag is my favorite!

I love the charcoal in stretchy velvet and the cotton candy bags. What a great idea! I have all these bags from the grocery store, but they are kind of a pain to think about carrying in to other stores when I shop. These would be a great idea for stores like Target, and the mall.

My favorites ,Kaleidoscope,Safari and the Voo Doo neat bags love them. I love my bags and always try to match what I am wearing. Great selection,count me in

I like the midnight bag. Too bad the straps aren’t longer so you can actually carry them on your shoulder without it jammed under your arm pit. (Not very practical if the bag is full of groceries.)

These bags are marvelous and I had a difficult time choosing. I think my favorite is Noir - but I really like Kaleidoscope and Creole and Skyline and Big Easy (and a bunch of others) too.
