Be A *Star*
Life Starring Ellie and Eve gave me a reason to smile by proclaiming that Mom Most Traveled is a STAR!
Yes, I have officially recieved the You’ve Been Starred Award. In honor of this award, I have been asked to share five things that I believe make me a *star*.
*clearing throat*
The first reason that I am a *star* is that I have survived one of the worst weeks ever that included such adventures as 1) my husband crashing our car, 2) my friend crashing her motorbike into my front porch, 3) finding termites in the door frame after having located a noisy munching sound ewwww!
Reason number two that I am a star: I am SO not giving up on finding a BlogHer ‘09 sponsor. I better start getting some positive responses or the PR world is going to get very weary of my persistence.
Reason number three: I have rhinestones in my sunglasses, and beaded t-shirts. It is the poor girl’s equivalent of *bling*! And hey, I hear that even the big stars are just borrowing their diamonds these days.
Reason number four: I’m a vegetarian. Stars always have to have some kind of cause to stand behind, don’t they? Check!
Reason number five: I had such a fun time being intereviewed for some podcasts recently; I need to find another! It might not be syndicated radio, but I felt like a bit of a star talking to Brenden Wood in Australia, and Small Wander!
I personally think that Katydid and Kid is a star, and so are Jennifer, Erin and Paula.
