Bamboosa Baby Rib Tank

As the weather turns colder, it’s time to start layering your clothing. The Bamboosa Baby Rib Tank is a mid-weight tank perfect for layering under tees and sweaters.

Bamboo fabric is softer than cotton with a texture similar to raw silk.

I have a 100% Bamboo Fine Jersey Fitted Tank that has become my most favorite top. I love to layer it in cold weather or wear it alone when it is warm. I am actually wearing it as I type this, and I will admit I have also slept in this, my most comfortable tank top!

Bamboosa bamboo fabric is natural, chemical free, 100% biodegradable, and naturally anti-microbial.

I put on my Bamboosa shirt today because I needed to feel safe after reading some reports about some people having adverse reactions to plastisol coming in contact with their skin (specifically, babies wearing Carter’s clothing). Plastisol is a chemical present in inks used for screen printing designs onto fabric, such as t-shirt images and “tag-less tags”.

We used to screen print t-shirts in our home, so I am familiar with the ink names. Reading about these problems made me question if my family’s clothing is safe. Could plastisol be causing what I thought was eczema on my 15-month-old?

I was already on the alert about the dangers of BPA and PVC, but now I am also resolved to seek out natural, safe clothing for my family.

I am thankful to already know and trust Bamboosa products. Bamboo fabric is created from bamboo pulp. The fabric is bleached without the use of chlorine and is dyed without the use of harsh chemicals.

Bamboosa is giving away one Bamboo Baby Rib Tank to one Mom Most Traveled reader!

To enter, visit Bamboosa and tell me what color Baby Rib Tank you would like to win, using the official color names on the site. Also, in your comment, share any experiences you have had with product recalls or scares.

One winner will be chosen at random.

This giveaway is open to US residents.

This contest will close on Wednesday, November 26, 12 midnight CST.

*Contest Closed! Congrats to Lindsey@A Kindred Spirits Thoughts!

Why do I always feel it bad luck to be the first to comment? I love this line and I prefer the natural colour. :)

    Purely Natural for the colour.
Yes, we had a recall scare: pet food. Our cat is a member of our family and we thought we were buying a very good brand only to discover it was owned by a company that owned a lot of brands that were recalled. We have switched our princess to Newman’s Own Organic and feel so much better.

If you can delete my first post great if not, do not count this one. Thanks. :)

I would certainly feel much safer wearing Bamboosa than any other! I like the Purely Natural color; they didn’t have pink….
I don’t recall any recalls ( that just happens sometimes), either I’ve been very fortunate or very isolated as to worldly events. That’s even scarier!

I would choose the Cayenne Red! A little flashy but so pretty…

Thankfully I have never experienced a recall scare. Roo does get eczema patches on her wrists, though. Can’t figure out what is causing them since it happens in short sleeve weather, too.

I was shopping at the mall at a popular teen clothing store for my sister, and I noticed a sign that mentioned that the dyes used on some of the fabrics could be toxic, so to wash your clothing after you buy it before wearing it. I thought, WHAT? That got me out of that store real fast.

Thanks for this great article and the helpful giveaway!

I worry about the eczema on my daughters arm. It is on the crook of her elbow and seems to be assisted by zinc products, however it is still discoloring her skin. I want to make sure not to agitate it at all.

love the blue- these are very nice. We went through the dog food recall as most americans and walmart would not refund the money- they said it was safe- well, we tossed it and lucky we did becuase that was recalled that lot the next week- It is scary and the fact alot of recalls they know for a long time before it gets to press pisses me off.

I had a fantastic picture of my middle daughter with really messed up “White Trash” teeth then a few weeks later I learned that they had lead in them.

    I love the Indigo Blue.

I like the Indigo Blue tank. My son had received a Nick TV sponsored toy that had styrofoam like links one could cut with a “play” saw and fit together. It was an very poorly made toy and when the foam bits started to stain my hands as I was handling it and the bits clung to everything I just threw it away. Later I found that it had been recalled.

I like the indigo blue. Regarding health scares, when my youngest son was a baby, someone gave us some baby formula. Apparently it was the bad tainted formula (6 years ago). He had diarreha for a week straight.

Beach Sand for now. I’ve not had any recall issues, but I have had plenty of bad food episodes that nobody ever notices on a national level.

Couldn’t get the edit done because the clock kept running while it was going to the edit???

Anyway…I haven’t experienced a recall problem with any product I’ve purchased over the years. I’ve had some that didn’t live up to the hype or could have been better quality, but these days I do a lot more research on a product since I use the internet now.
