Backyard Safari Outfitters

CIMG1740Jojo is a huge fan of "adventure".

Inspired by Indiana Jones, he would love to be some kind of rugged scientist.

BACKYARD SAFARI™OUTFITTERS makes toy "essential field gear" for outdoor fun.

They are toys, but made last, fully functional, and made for action.

5-year-old Jojo was thrilled to CIMG1746check out the Backyard Safari Megaview Periscope, Backyard Safari Cargo Vest, and Backyard Safari Bug Vacuum.

The vest is all about fashion, but Jojo loved the many pockets and enjoyed pulling out the included "field guide" (pictures of all Backyard Safari products) and reading it over and over again.

He put the Backyard Safari Bug Vacuum to the test on some ants, and to my surprise it actually worked. I think once the ants got in the little bug jar chamber, he felt sad, because he immediately wanted to set them free.

Deeds later used the Backyard Safari Bug Vacuum to pick up dried rice grains from under the dinner table. That worked, too.

Sure, that might not be the intended use, but it does work for that.

The Backyard Safari Megaview Periscope is about 20 inches tall when folded, but telescopes out to an amazing height, perfect for spying on neighbors over the fence.

The Backyard Safari Megaview Periscope is big, and also sturdy. In fact both the Backyard Safari Megaview Periscope and the Backyard Safari Bug Vacuum have been dropped many times on the kitchen floor and survived.

Jojo loves these toys and has gone on several Backyard Safaris with his gear.

He love to look at the pictures of all available Backyard Safari Outfitters products, and he has told me the ones he wants to add to his collection soon.

Yes, we will probably need these for our adventuring as well.
